Freshwater to Yarmouth Walk

One of the things I’ve heard people say about the Isle of Wight is that the pace of life is slower than on the mainland. It’s certainly true of my own pace now I’m a little unsteady on my feet, but I’m determined not to stop exploring the island.

With that in mind, yesterday I left earlier than usual for the ferry and walked rather than took the bus, figuring that a wander would be better than the bumpy bus ride for my back.

It took a little over an hour, but was definitely worth it. Here’s a few of the photos I took on the way.
